Your readers will learn more about you, and you will suddenly transform into a real person, rather than pixels on a screen!

Is there a better way to get to know you than to see you and hear you? A weekly vlog post (scary stuff, but worth it once you’ve done it!), photos of you and the stuff you get up to. Love Instagram? Link to all your Insta photos! Vine all the time? Get those up there too! The more your audience get to know you, the more they will want to keep reading about you.

If you have a cat, dog, turtle, sloth then get them up on the blog too! The internet is the playground of cats, and there is no reason why yours shouldn’t be hanging out too! If you have a great group of mates who are always around, the mention them, if they are part of your experiences then they should be a part of your blog too.

It’s really important to talk to your readers, to help build up a relationship with them. If you’re a fashion blogger why not photograph your wardrobe and ask your readers to come up with an outfit for you? If you’ve got a serious case of wanderlust, ask your readers to recommend great places and experiences for you…. It will give your blog a community feel, and will build up an even bigger following!
