Use your blog for a great cause!
The Bloggers’ Lounge have teamed up with Breast Cancer Care to spread the word about the charity’s latest campaign, Pink Fridays. And we need your help – use your voice to raise awareness, blog about your involvement and be as vocal as you can on social media.
This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, people across the UK are turning their Fridays pink to help the thousands of women –a staggering 1 in 8–waking up to the harsh reality of breast cancer. You can help too!
We’d love you to help us support Breast Cancer Care by embracing all things pink. Whether it’s encouraging others to wear pink to work or take it after hours with a pink night in or holding a Pink Friday yourself, we can face breast cancer together.

Breast Cancer Care has also launched a petition calling for the Government to make secondary breast cancer (where breast cancer cells have spread to other parts of the body) a priority. Currently access to specialist nurses isn’t always available and people aren’t always referred to palliative care for symptom control at an appropriate time. It’s an unfortunate reality that some breast cancers can’t be cured, but there’s still so much we can do together to help improve the lives of people with breast cancer.
You can make a huge difference

We can’t wait to see what you all get up to!
