Today we caught up with 20 year old blogger Laura, to hear all about her fashion blog Laura’s Fashion Fix!
So Laura, why did you decide to blog about fashion in particular, and why did you decide to start blogging?
I believe that fashion isn’t just about what you wear or how you look, which means I also blog about all things beauty and lifestyle related, as I believe this play a major role in fashion as well. I currently work in a fashion orientated retail job, which is great as I have had an interest in fashion since I was at high school, and being quite a creative person, I enjoy the idea of posting and publishing things on my blog to share with others.
How has your blog developed since you’ve started?
I started my blog on the 1st of January 2013, where I chose to write about the things I liked, things I wanted, the things I’d purchased & other opinions on products in general. I’d never thought that anyone would enjoy/comment on anything I’d written in my own little corner on the Internet, and since then I have built up a small following of readers/bloggers, which has shocked me! I have also been able to get in contact with other bloggers and build relationships with them through starting my blog and through Twitter, which has made me aware of so many lovely bloggers!
And finally where would you like to see your blog going?!
From starting my blog, I knew that my blog wasn’t going to be a big thing or something everyone would read. But since I’ve worked on it and developed my blog further, I can see that there are people who enjoy reading what I post about, and I guess that the most rewarding part of blogging. So, in the future, I would hope that I can expand my blog further, gain some new readers/bloggers, as well as bloggers who I can build friendships with and just continue to carry on with something that I enjoy doing, some what of a hobbie now!
